Description

This is a wonderfully elegant Chenin Blanc showing a bright pale-gold colour and beautiful aromas of creamy citrus, dried pear, fresh herbs, stone and smoke. There is an impression of sweetness but the palate is dry with ripe pear, peach and apricot fruit with stone and mineral flavours, chalky texture and fabulous length.

The Montlouis “Singulier – Clos aux Renards” is a dry Montlouis made from 60 to 80 year old Chenin Blanc vines on clay soils called “Aubuis” over Turonian limestone.
