The 2018 Syrah (96% Syrah and 2% each of Petite Sirah and Viognier) boasts a deep ruby hue as well as medium-bodied aromas and flavors of red and black fruits, ground pepper, grilled meats, and plenty of sappy herb/underbrush nuances. I don’t think it matches the 2018, but there’s no question it’s an outstanding, beautiful Syrah well worth seeking out.
