Description
Our 2018 Tempranillo is from elegant vintage with classic flavors and excellent concentration. Bloom, while delayed a bit due to cool spring weather, took place in almost perfect conditions that led to generous fruit set. The summer was long, with moderate temperatures, allowing fruit to gradually reach perfect ripeness. Harvest was unhurried and the resulting wine is balanced by bright acidity and soft, approachable tannins. Raspberry, fig, and earthy aromas fill the glass while dark cherry, mixed berries, and chocolate mark the structured palate that leads to a lengthy finish.
