Description
The 2021 Santenots chez Glantenay is a classic example of this fine vineyard, with a very black fruity and soil-driven personality. The lovely bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of cassis, black plum, raw cocoa, a complex base of dark soil tones, currant leaf, pigeon, a touch of vanillin oak and a lovely topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and complex, with a lovely core of fruit, fine transparency and grip, suave tannins and a long, perfectly balanced and elegant finish.
