Nyulászó (pronounced nu-lääh-sooh) is one of the most renowned First Growth vineyards in Tokaj. Its name, derived from the ancient Magyar word meaning “to catch hares,” reflects the vineyard’s historical significance. Located adjacent to Szt. Tamás, Nyulászó overlooks the picturesque village of Mád. Known for its rich, complex wines, the vineyard benefits from a unique terroir, where the combination of volcanic soils and ideal microclimate produces grapes of exceptional quality, making it a standout site in the Tokaj region.
