Description
A still red wine from Tuscany IGT, produced by Isole e Olena, 2022 vintage. 100% Sangiovese. A wine that embodies Paolo de Marchi’s passion and dedication, a tribute to Sangiovese and the Tuscan terroir. It matures for 18 months in French and American oak barriques, then ages for another year in the bottle. Aromas of cherry, black cherry, and blackcurrant, along with hints of bitter chocolate, set against a spicy background. Ruby red in color, tending toward violet. The tannins are rough, and the acidity is still crisp but well-balanced. The finish is dry, recalling the opening fruit. The finish is medium-long.
