”Our Estate Chardonnay is a carefully crafted blend of wines from 44 distinct blocks in our Carneros estate vineyard. Each block is vinified separately, using classic yet minimal winemaking techniques such as barrel fermentation, French oak aging and partial malolactic fermentation, all in harmony with the vintage. When blended, the Estate Chardonnay gracefully reflects the layered characteristics of Chardonnay to be found across our estate.WINEMAKER NOTES From a truly classic vintage, our 2012 Estate Chardonnay displays lovely aromatics of honeysuckle, lily, acacia blossom and clove spice. Upon tasting this wine, it demonstrates a charming mix of white peach, apricot, nectarine and lime zest all tied to a bright, long, refreshing finish.- Steve Rogstad, Winemaker
