Description
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and sometimes a small share of Petit Verdot, to represent the elegance, complexity and structure of the Bolgheri terroir. It has been produced since 1990 from vineyards located on a soil of alluvial origin, from clayey-sandy to clayey-silty, with the presence of Bolgheri agglomerate (skeleton).
Guado al Tasso 2020 has an intense ruby red color. The nose is striking for the notes of small black fruits, sweet spices, toasted wood and undergrowth. On the palate it shows a tannic texture of splendid harmony, refinement and persistence. A wine already enjoyable in youth, perhaps even more than the previous vintage, but able to improve and evolve over time with a few more years of aging in the bottle.
