This estate makes a big, rich style of wine and their 2018 Syrah is no exception, sporting a deep purple hue as well as gorgeous aromatics of ripe blackberries, blueberries, bacon fat, candied violets, and cracked black pepper. It’s beautiful on the palate as well and is full-bodied, has a layered, elegant mouthfeel, some solid background oak, and a great finish. It’s a seriously impressive, pure, balanced Syrah from Washington State that readers will love.
