Brotherhood Winery is located in Washingtonville, New York. With its first commercial vintage produced in 1839, it is commonly acknowledged to be the oldest operating winery in the United States. In 2000 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The winery’s slogan is “America’s Oldest Winery”.A refreshing blend of white wine, strawberry juice and the herb woodruff. Sweet, light-bodied with the fresh taste of strawberries and the flowery fragrance of woodruff. May Wine, made by combining fresh flowers of woodruff, strawberries and young wine, has been used to celebrate the coming spring in Germany for centuries.
