Description
Since 1980, the Hahn family has cultivated their hillside vineyards in Monterey County. Today, Hahn wines represent the familys commitment to craft rich, supple wines which over deliver on quality yet are perfect for everyday enjoyment.WINEMAKING NOTESThe grapes for this wine were grown primarily in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, which sits on a gravelly alluvial plain beneath the Santa Lucia mountain range. Cool winds from Monterey Bay ensure gradual ripening and the development of vibrant flavors. The gravelly soils of the appellation allow excellent drainage, enhancing flavor intensity.TASTING NOTESInitial scents of citrus and honeydew segue into notes of vanilla and toast. Medium bodied and dry on the palate, a note that evokes essence of granny smith apple and citrus contributes a snap of acidity to the wines clean finish.FOOD PAIRINGSGrilled Sea Bass with herb butter, Chicken breast with lemon, heirloom tomato Bruschetta, Caesar salad. – Hahn
