Description
The Cascina delle Rose A Elizabeth Dolcetto d’Alba is made from 100% Dolcetto that has been fermented and aged in stainless steel. The wine is named after a family friend, Elizabeth, who has been coming to the estate from San Fransisco every year since 2000 to help with the Dolcetto harvest. The wine pours a deep purple and emits beautifully perfumed black stone fruit and floral aromas. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a fresh, juicy acidity that creates a remarkably refreshing wine. Enjoy with ravioli nudi, or a wild mushroom polenta.
