Description
Tre Venezie IGT still rosé, 12% ABV, produced by Masi Agricola. 100% Merlot, 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A rosé born from Masi’s passion for the Venetian regions, with Merlot grapes sourced from vineyards in the upper Valpolicella. Spring 2023 was characterized by rainfall in line with historical values and slightly higher temperatures. The harvest in Valpolicella began in the first ten days of September with healthy, uniform, and ripe grapes. Very gentle pressing of the still-cold grapes in the presence of dry ice. The must was floated in tanks, selected yeasts were added, and fermentation took place between 13 and 16°C. Aged in stainless steel on the fine lees with weekly bâtonnage for approximately 60 days. Pale pink in color with onion skin highlights. Intense floral aromas emerge on the nose, anticipating a fresh and pleasant palate, with hints of red fruit and distinct notes of raspberry. Dry finish supported by a pleasant acidity.
