The Grenache comes from the Thompson Vineyard and was aged in neutral oak to preserve the fruit aromas and flavors.Winemakers Tasting NotesVery aromatic, with notes of mineral, herb, flowers and smoke. Tightly wound and rich, yet light on the palate. Rich and oaky and a bit angular. It needs some time for the oak and fruit to come together in the bottle. Bright fruit flavors of blueberry, strawberry and dark cherry with notes of dark chocolate and anise. Very long and broad finish with firm tannins. – Workman Ayer
