Winemaker Notes
Hailing from world-famous Stag’s Leap District in Napa Valley, known for its silky tannins, the wine spends 24 months resting in a barrel, followed by a minimum of another two years of bottle age. Stunning aromatics of dark cherry, cassis, coffee beans and creamy vanilla waft from the glass. The palate offers an abundance of black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum with layers of silky chocolate ganache, framed by a solid spine of acidity and a tight core of savory essences. This everlasting finish suggests a decidedly cellar worthy offering.
