Description
Founded in 1968, Cantina Tinazzi is a classic family business near Verona, which owns several wineries in northern Italy and Veneto. It is located in Cavaion, in the midst of the wide creases of the moraine hills that stretch out between the Adige and southern Lake Garda. In addition to classic DOC wines, many remarkable IGT wines are vinified here, mostly single-varietal, but also exciting cuvées with local and international grape varieties. Tinazzi is now one of the biggest winemakers in Veneto and rightly so.
Strawberries, plums, sour cherriesGoes well with grilled meats, risotto, polenta and cheese.The grapes were dried on flat wooden frames for 120 days. The grapes, which had almost shrunk into sultanas, were crushed and the concentrated must was allowed to ferment. Aged for at least 12 months in Slovenian oak.
