Champagne 1er Cru Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut, produced by Geoffroy, a historic name in Champagne. 2016 vintage, 12.5% ABV. A Blanc de Noirs that expresses the complexity of Pinot Noir through a fine and persistent perlage. The Geoffroy family’s origins date back to the 17th century, in Cumières, in the heart of the Marne Valley. 80% of the vinification takes place in barrels. The nose opens with a complex bouquet featuring aromas of red fruits. Pale yellow in color. The palate is fresh, with flavors of strawberry, redcurrant, and fragrant flowers such as peonies, and a lingering finish. Perfect as an aperitif or to accompany fish dishes.
