Description
Dry still red, 14% ABV, produced by Frank Cornelissen in Sicily. 100% Nerello Mascalese. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine born from the philosophy of a producer who believes in respecting nature and the terroir of Etna. Destemming and light pressing of the grapes. Fermentation: starting with a pied-de-cuve of only indigenous yeasts and contact with the skins for approximately 60 days. Aged in neutral fiberglass tanks holding 1200 to 2500 liters for 18 months, followed by another 18 months in bottle. On the palate, it is a wine that expresses the strength and elegance of Nerello Mascalese, with a unique and unmistakable character.
