Description
Now with over a decade of bottle age, the 2013 Giovanni Rosso Barolo is beginning to show its true character. Aromas of dried rose, red cherry, and wild strawberry lift from the glass, layered with notes of tobacco, crushed herbs, and a touch of tar. On the palate, it is structured yet increasingly supple, with fine, resolved tannins supporting a core of bright red fruit and savory earth. The finish is long and nuanced, marked by spice, mineral tension, and a lingering floral note.
A Barolo that is just entering its drinking window, offering both immediate pleasure and the ability to evolve further with time.
