Founded in 2007 by Armenak Aslanian, ArmAs has led the revival of Armenia’s indigenous grapes, combining tradition with global expertise. With Italian winemaker Emilio Del Medico at the helm and certified sustainable vineyards in the foothills of Mount Ararat, the winery brings a modern edge to ancient varieties. This 2021 Karmrahyut-Areni blend (80/20) is bright and structured, with vibrant cherry and berry flavors, a dusty tannic grip, and smoky, herbal spice notes for added depth. Pair it with grilled lamb, mushroom risotto, or roasted eggplant for a taste that’s both rooted and refined.
