About the wineThe 2013 Amici Cellars Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of 50% Sauvignon Musque and 50% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in St. Helena andRutherford in the Napa Valley.2013 Vintage2013 is widely regarded as one of the best vintages on record forNapa Valley winemaking.The ideal year began with a mild spring and no frosts, and continued with a summer and fall that brought warm, even temperatures and no heat waves. Throughout the growing season the vines enjoyed warm days and cool nights, allowing a long, slow ripening that resulted in beautifully balanced wines with fully developed flavors and fresh acidity.Winemaker NotesThis wine exhibits distinct aromas of citrus, fragrant honey-suckle, and notes of pineapple and guava. On the palate, round flavors of tropicalfruit and lemon custard are balanced by a clean, wet stone minerality and a hint oflemonzest. It is a complex andelegant wine that,servedchilled, will pair beautifully with virtually any summer food.
