Arvero Limoncello

Description

Arvero Limoncello is made in Italy at the Nastro D’Oro Distillery, located within Massa Lubrense in the small village of Termini. Established in 1996, the distillery produces typical liqueurs from the Sorrento Peninsula using a careful selection of natural ingredients and the authenticity of traditional recipes. Árvero is produced and bottled in the surroundings of the picturesque Massa Lubrense (NA). This liqueur from Italy is lemon yellow in the glass, with the fresh nose of Sorrento lemons; the palate shows a pleasant sweetness with vibrant lemon notes. The spirit is produced with a traditional recipe of the zest of select lemons from Sorrento, sugar and alcohol. The zest’s aromatic oils give it its unique color and inimitable aroma, which can be visible in the neck of the bottle. Drink it chilled or over ice, serve it with or in fruity desserts, or use it as a cocktail accent. This is great with prosecco–we recommend Rapido Prosecco from our shelves. Just ad 1 part Limoncello to 5 parts prosecco (if you add more this is also okay as Limoncello is not as syrupy as Kir). You can also drink with bourbon and bitters! Our recommendation: 2 parts Balcones Baby Blue Texas Whisky, 1 part Limoncello, and a dash of Peychaud’s Bitters. Stir with ice, strain, and serve.
