Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, produced by Azelia Luigi Scavino, 2017 vintage. 0.75 l bottle, 14.5% ABV. A Barolo that embodies the history of a family that has devotedly cultivated Nebbiolo in the hills of Serralunga d’Alba for five generations. It displays an extraordinary, gradual progression of a broad bouquet, where red berries and roses alternate with mineral hints of iron, followed by earth, conifers, black tea, and peppercorns. Bright, intense garnet color. The palate is elegant, supported by a formidable acid-savory backbone studded with mineral hints and a pulpy fruitiness. Silky tannins. A wine that expresses the power and elegance of Barolo, perfect for accompanying important dishes.
