This 2024 Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo from Tiberio is a benchmark rosé from the Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC, crafted by winemaker Cristiana Tiberio. It is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes sourced from vines averaging over 50 years old, planted in the limestone-rich soils of Cugnoli at an altitude of 350 meters. Tiberio employs a minimalist approach, using only free-run juice after a brief cold maceration and fermenting with native yeasts in stainless steel to preserve the grape’s pure expression. This method results in a distinctive, deeply colored, and structured rosé that embodies the authentic character of both the variety and its specific Abruzzese terroir.
