Description

Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 14% ABV, produced by Banfi. Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2020 vintage. A wine that embodies the excellence of Tuscany, with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that blend in a harmony of aromas and flavors. Fermentation at a controlled temperature (25-30°C) in combined stainless steel and French oak Horizon vats. Aged in 350-liter French oak barriques for 18 months. The nose opens with aromas of small berry jelly, drying red roses, woodsy notes, lavender, rhubarb candy, leather, cedarwood, beeswax, with a sprinkling of cumin, cloves, and paprika, framed by a broad balsamic aroma. More ruby than garnet. Very pleasant and particularly smooth on the palate, characterized by a mellow spiciness in the long finish.
