Description
Still red from Bordeaux, France, 13.5% ABV, produced by Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2012 vintage. A wine that embodies the Rothschild family’s winemaking tradition, with a history dating back to 1868. The grapes are hand-picked and transported in crates to a wooden vat. Aged for 14–18 months in barriques. Very ripe fruit and a pleasant, subtle woody cedar, vanilla, licorice, cocoa, and toasted almonds. Ruby red color. Frank and flavorful, followed by a rich, full-bodied, and balanced palate, leaving a fruity aftertaste.
