Description
Still red Langhe DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Beni di Batasiolo, a historic Piedmontese winery. Blend of Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine born from the passion of the Dogliani family, who have been involved in the world of wine in the Langhe for almost fifty years. Manual harvest, from late September to the first half of October. Vinification involves destemming and fermentation with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days. The individual grapes are vinified individually and then blended. Aged partly in French oak barriques and partly in stainless steel tanks. After this period, the wine continues to age in the bottle. The bouquet presents distinctly vinous notes with pleasant sensations of red berries, herbs, and spices. The hint of wood completes this truly delightful aromatic profile. A deep ruby red wine, clear and transparent. On the palate, good tannins, a delicate freshness and a pleasant alcohol content make it a round, savoury, full-bodied and pleasantly enveloping wine.
