Description
Boundary Breaks refer to this wine as reserve because it comes from a portion of the vineyard where they have thinned the fruit on the vines. By reducing the amount of fruit on a vine, they increase the ability of that vine to ripen the remaining fruit.
They picked fruit a bit earlier to mimic a German kabinett style, which enabled them to achieve the rich, full flavors in this wine while retaining a significant amount of acidity. For a “sweeter” Riesling this wine is perfectly balanced and a perfect pairing with spicy Asian food.
