Toscana IGT, 14.5% ABV, produced by Castello di Fonterutoli (Mazzei) in Tuscany, 2022 vintage. A still red that expresses the excellence of the Tuscan terroir, with a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Sangiovese. For over six hundred years, the Mazzei family has been producing unique wines with spirit and passion that are renewed from generation to generation. Fonterutoli embodies the same philosophy, which focuses on enhancing native grape varieties as an expression of a territory’s identity. A sea of wild fruit, juniper, rosewood, sandalwood, blond tobacco, and even hints of noble vegetal and leather unfold seamlessly. Deep ruby red, it is intense and fiery on the palate, full of perfectly modulated tannins and a perfectly balanced and long finish.
