Description
The Raig de Raïm red wine from the Piñol de Batea winery, in the DO Terra Alta, is surprising for being very sweet and persistent. The nose has aromas of ripe fruit, flowers, balsamic and a hint of licorice. In the mouth it maintains this expressiveness of fruit, with balsamic, spicy and notes of cocoa and toast typical of aging for four months in wooden barrels. The Piñol winery produces a production limited to 3,000 bottles.
