”VineyardsWe have 27 hectares of Brouilly on thin, acidic soils from pink granite. Our Brouilly terroir is divided into two partsthe vineyards facing Charentay give the structure and fruity expression while the St-Etienne-la-Varenne zone is at a higher altitude some 15 kilometers south-west of the Chateau. These abrupt slopes give a longer ripening period for the tannins and thus more complexity, freshness and minerality. The vines grow at almost 500 meters Average age of the vines45 yearsVinification and ageing150 grape-pickers pick the grapes, selecting them carefully. They are then sorted again in the skip. Vinification is done in our ultra-modern facility, according to the traditional methods of the Beaujolais. Maceration, along with pumping over, lasts 15 to 20 days. Matured in stainless steel vats before bottling in early summerTastingSupple, delicious and fruity, red berries on the nose, a wonderfully long finish.Serving recommendationsIt is the perfect accompaniment to poultry and meat dishes. It should be drunk at 12-14. The Brouilly wines from the Chateau de Corcelles are ruby coloured with harmony and good complexity in the mouth.
