Near Italy’s Adriatic coast just west of Ancona, Colleleva produces some of the best value wines in our entire portfolio. After their zesty Verdicchio and perfumed Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, we are thrilled to introduce yet another specialty of Le Marche, this time bearing the Rosso Piceno denomination. A blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese fermented and aged in stainless steel, this rosso is crafted in a smooth, easy-drinking style. The aroma is on the juicy side, recalling red berries and soft spice. It features a screw cap closure and takes well to a slight chill, and shines with everyday fare such as pastas, pizza, cold cuts, or a BLT. This delicious bargain red will perfectly follow a cold glass of Colleleva’s Verdicchio.
