Aging Time The bottles have remained in our cellars in total darkness and silence for a minimum of 12 months.Jaume Serra is located on top of a hill that slopes gently toward the Mediterranean Sea in Vilanova i La Geltru Barcelona. Its origins date back to 1647, with a walled estate from the seventeenth century that served to protect an old fort that, legend has it, contained a passage that connected it to the town.Today the winery is surrounded by an estate of 125 hectares containing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo and Chardonnay vineyards. The winemaking facilities have a grape production capacity of 5 million kg. with the most modern production and aging systems and a capacity for 20 million bottles of wine per year.
