Description
Winemaker Notes
A deep, dense, ruby-violet color offers the nose a broad spectrum of earthy spice notes with lightly toasted oak, vanilla bean and baking spices followed by black cherry and raspberry, rose petals and hints of citrus rind. The palate is focused, yet broad, with chewy fine-grained tannins and flavors of cherry fruit cake, cassis and cocoa nibs.

Cool and very pretty aromas and flavors with a bay-leaf undertone to the blueberry and blackcurrant character. Medium to full body, firm tannins and a flavorful finish. Pretty precision to this.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Acre was brought in at the end of September and aged in 90% new French oak. It’s another clean, classy, balanced wine that has an elegant, ethereal style. Red and black currants, black raspberries, toasted spice, hints of tobacco, and cedar all emerge from the glass, followed by a medium-bodied red with a silky texture, good balance, and a great finish.
