Description
David Reynaud’s grandfather was known for his love of food and the good things in life, but also for his excellent advice. Convinced that he would have loved these wines, David has named this cuvée in his grandfather’s honour. Its Syrah is cultivated in line with biodynamic principles on limestone and clay soil, and the wine is matured in barriques and concrete tanks for one year. It is ruby in colour with notes of dark fruits, spice and violets. Elegant tannins add structure and a delightful mineral backbone gives the wine its energy. This cuvée will keep for several years in the cellar when it will make a sublime pairing with game or other hearty foods.
