Winemaker Notes
Ripe, red cherry fruit character with good persistance. Approachable in youth but can age for several years.

COMMENTARY: Monthélie is one of those Burgundy appellations that often gets overlooked by most wine lovers. I have often found the wines to represent some of the area’s best values. The 2015 Domaine Dubuet-Monthélie 1er Cru Les Champs Fullots is an excellent example of the brightness of this region’s wines. TASTING NOTES: This wine stays bright and elegant from beginning to end. Its aromas and flavors of red and black fruits couple with hints of dried leather make it a fine pairing choice with grilled lollipop lamb chops.
