Winemakers Notes
A white wine with a golden colour, the Saint-Bris Exogyra Virgula has sparkling reflections. On the nose, it gives off scents of ripe fruit, citrus fruits such as pink grapefruit, mango, heady flowers such as old rose and an iodine note. You will discover these fruity aromas and white spices on the palate with a saline minerality. The plots grow on Kimmeridgian limestone that contains oyster fossils (exogyra virgula).
Saint-Bris Exogyra Virgula is best enjoyed from an early age at 12/13° and can be kept for at least 5 years. It goes perfectly with fatty fish such as trout or tuna, smoked salmon and Thai cuisine.
