Bouquet: The aromatic bouquet is complex, with notes of ripe berries, such as cherries, raspberries and blueberries, together with hints of spices, flowers and undergrowth. Possible toasted wood or vanilla notes may come from aging in oak barrels.
Taste: On the palate, the Corton Cuvée du Bourdon Grand Cru is full-bodied, with a solid structure and elegant tannins. Flavors of black fruit, spices, herbs and distinctive minerality can be detected, reflecting Corton’s unique terroir. The wine can have good acidity and a long persistence on the finish.
