Description
Barolo Serralunga d’Alba, an organic red from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, produced by Fontanafredda. 2020 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A Barolo born in the heart of the Langhe, in Serralunga d’Alba, from Nebbiolo grapes grown with passion and respect for the environment. The intense aroma gives way to more spicy, complex, and elegant notes. A luminous ruby red color with bright garnet highlights. On the palate, it is silky yet taut, enveloping, and vibrant. The aromas of small red fruits are easily discernible, along with a hint of mint. The tannins are youthful and energetic, expressing all the aging potential typical of a great Barolo.
