The smell of this is really enticing cherry, red currant, rasberry, and chocolate-covered cherries no kidding. While in the mouth, it rocks with plenty of gutsy substance and character. The flavors of black cherry, red plum, and black rasberry, along with a touch of dark cocoa powder and spicy black pepper, are warm and generous. The finely grained tannins smooth things out on the mid palate and the flavors are sustained all the way to the finish where toasty oak and more cocoa powder kicks in.Vinted and bottled by Langry Estate. This Claret is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, and petite sirah, it’s made in a style to mimic a classic red Bordeaux, which the Brit’s often refer to as claret.
