Herbsaint Liqueur is an anise-flavored American-made version of pastis. It is made in New Orleans. It is a clear greenish-amber color that you can see right through, though it turns cloudy in water. It is not as sweet as Pernod. Made by the Sazerac company, it is officially referred to as Liqueur d’Anis. 90 Proof
