Hollis is the second label to Stewart Cellars and is perfect for Cabernet bargain shoppers. 100% Napa Valley Cabernet, sourced from such highly esteemed vineyards as Stagecoach, State Lane and Crystal Springs, made originally by Paul Hobbs, and now by his mentee Blair Guthrie! (Blair is also the winemaker for Stewart Cellars).
The Hollis is accessible now with engaging and rich, fruit forward components dominated by cassis, black cherry and tobacco. It offers a muscular mid-palate full of soft tannins with notes of chocolate and coconut husk and it has a very long, lingering finish.
