Description
Scintilla is a red Valtellina wine with a transparent ruby red color of medium intensity, but very lively and bright. With medium olfactory power, it is characterized by floral and fruity finesse (wild violet and unripe hazelnut), persistent and captivating. On the palate it expresses itself with a never overbearing but very balanced texture.
It is a wine just pleasantly tannic , with storable tannins that highlight the specificity of mountain Nebbiolo . Well-harmonized in freshness and flavor, it is the ideal wine for traditional dishes of Valtellina cuisine (pizzoccheri, yellow polenta and polenta taragna), for snacks with cured meats and for all Alpine soups.
