This particular blend, often referred to as a “Super Tuscan,” has consistently been a favorite among visitors to the Tasting Room, making it the top-selling wine. Each vintage is carefully crafted to showcase the best qualities of its components, resulting in a unique blend that stands out.
The 2020 Cuvee 32 is a testament to this approach, with a blend that includes Sangiovese, Merlot, and Montepulciano. The absence of Malbec and Syrah in this vintage allows the cherry/cassis aromas of the Sangiovese to shine, complemented by red fruit notes of plums, blueberry, and a touch of pomegranate. As the wine opens up, more complex aromas of cocoa, cinnamon, leather, and black licorice emerge, promising a dynamic tasting experience.
On the palate, the Cuvee 32 offers a medium to full body with a refreshing acidity that makes it a versatile companion for a wide range of dishes.
