The highly touted 2012 vintage will not disappoint. Right from the start you notice the intensity of deep color with aromas of ripe black cherry and blackberry. Very pure, deep concentrated aromas leap from the glass. Across the palate this wine just flows easily. Layers upon layers of dark, ripe berry fruits and fine toasty French oak used only as accent to drive the fruit. Balance is dead-on, leaving you with a mouthful of flavor lasting for several minutes.
