Description
65% Chardonnay, 35% Viognier
It’s light and crisp. This is down to the grape and the time it’s harvested. At night, when the sun goes down, so the grapes are crisper and happier. You’ll notice a touch of lemon, a hint of almond and a subtle finish of apricot. Or you may not, and that’s OK. We recommend more delicate foods. A summer salad, white fish or maybe even a chicken dish. But we do know someone who likes it with pistachio ice cream. And we don’t judge. ~winery notes
We are eight generation winemakers. So weve got history. That history informs, but doesnt dictate what we do. We respect the past, but constantly try to improve upon it. By always looking for better, more natural and sustainable ways to harvest the worlds most elegant French wines. We are Laurent Miquel. Pre et Fils means ‘Father and Son’. In this case it’s Henri and Laurent. Henri, the father, brings the experience, and knowledge of the land. Laurent adds the audacity to change the way things always were. They tried over sixty blends before landing on the chosen few. It’s a collaboration that’s two generations in the making. But we believe youll think it was worth the wait.
