Winemakers Note:
A beautiful aromatic expression on this native grape variety Pinot Auxerrois, an aromatic selection of Pinot Blanc, is the white grape variety that has best adapted to the northern climates of north-eastern France. It was developed in Lorraine for its argilocalcian soils. In Lucey, it is the first to reach maturity and its organoleptic qualities are highly appreciated by connoisseurs.
Tasting & Pairing:
Pale yellow colour with pearly reflections. Expressive nose with a dominance of William pear, peach and white fruits. Round and harmonious palate with citrus flavours.
To be enjoyed as an aperitif or with fish, shellfish, snails, frogs’ legs, white pudding or fresh goat’s cheese.
