Located in the Cucamonga Valley in Southern California, this hidden block of Lopez Ranch was planted in 1918 for sherry production – a fortified sweet wine which was popular in the mid-1900s. These old Palomino vines struggle in the near-desert like conditions; with rocky-sandy soil that holds very little water. LePoidevin Cellars Lopez Ranch Cucamongo Valley Old Vine Palomino had two days of skin contact before being pressed and finishing its fermentation.
