Winemakers NotesThe 2018 growing season saw abundant rains in February, with o and on sunlight throughout the Spring and Early Summer. Bud break waited long enough to insure a full fruit set. e relatively mild summer followed by extended fall sunshine and moderate heat created near-ideal conditions for winemakers to allow their fruit to accumulate flavor complexity with gradual increases in sugar levels. We were above average crop quantity, without sacrificing quality.Tasting NotesThis medium brick, plum colored Cabernet highlights the varietal. Ripe Cabernet shines with intense black-cherry notes in this multi vineyard blend. e pallet has a rustic fruit expression favoring dried cherry, cassis and pomegranate notes. e wine finishes with subtle oak notes yielding a light vanilla and cocoa finish.
