Tasting Notes The 2015 Starmont Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh aromas of grapefruit, kaffir lime and jasmine. A crisp and delicious entry leads to a bright and fleshy mid-palate, good acidity and structure showcasing flavors of citrus, guava and mang. The finish is moderately long, clean and refreshing.Vineyard Notes Sourcing our Sauvignon Blanc from different regions of the Napa Valley, each component contriubutes own distinct expression to the final blend. Sauvignon Blanc is very characteristic of where it is grown and, as a result, each site provides a different aspect of the varietal.Production Notes Fermentation was in a combination of stainless steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels. Our intent is to preserve and enhance the varietal nuances and textural complexity.The wine was aged 5 months in neutral French oak barrels 52%and stainless steel 48%. – Merryvale
